EDP is a rapidly growing company — with deep experience in retail and commercial propane sales, operations and finance. We provide safe, reliable propane service to residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers from Connecticut to California.

We service more than 200,000 customers in 19 states, with a presence in rural America as well as in major metropolitan areas. We have become a significant player in the propane industry, recognized in 2022 and 2023 as one of the Top Ten Propane Marketers by LP Gas Magazine. Since our inception in 2012, EDP has helped more than 30 owners of well-run propane businesses transition to their own “next chapter” while benefiting everyone involved.

Responsibilities:

Safely transporting propane to residential, commercial, and industrial locationsConducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicleLoading and unloading propane cylinders and tanks using proper lifting and safety techniquesAdhering to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the safe handling and delivery of propaneProviding exceptional customer service and addressing customer inquiries or concernsMaintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and customer transactionsCollaborating with the dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and schedules

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).1-3 years of job-related experience (preferred).Positive attitude, safe mindset, and great communications/customer skills.CDL-Class A or B (Hazmat/Tanker) endorsements (must attain within 90 days of hire).Physically able to lift and pull up to 60 pounds, in all weather conditions.Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
