Landscape Maintenance Technician

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage a wheelbarrow.
  • Prior experience in landscaping is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Possession of a Spray Tech license and a valid Driver's License, or the willingness to obtain them.
  • Knowledge of small engine repair is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pruning and shaping overgrown hedges, shrubs, and small trees.
  • Trimming along sidewalks, flower beds, and around structures.
  • Mowing grass and maintaining lawn health.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the vitality of plants and flowers.
  • Raking leaves and clearing debris from various surfaces.
  • Planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, including digging necessary holes.
  • Implementing erosion control and Xeriscaping techniques using various rocks.
  • Maintaining drainage systems, irrigation, and sprinkler setups.
  • Overseeing the upkeep of water features and fountains.
  • Obtaining and maintaining a Spray Tech license for seasonal applications.
