Be apart of an exciting new opening while building a unique and elevated beverage program.  The Hollywood Cafe & Sports Bar is rebranding to The Hollywood Diner and Bar and is undergoing a full renovation of both interior and exterior spaces - featuring a completely redesigned bar and outdoor patio.  We are looking for a beverage manager to assist in the initial bar layout, equipment selection and operating plan.  This iconic landmark will be re-engaged to the community with a heavy focus on elevated signature cocktails, rotating craft beers and eclectic wines.  

The Beverage Manager will be directly responsible for all day-to-day bar operations and needs to take ownership of their program.  As such, the position will have unique KPIs and sales goals that directly impact the bottom-line.  This is in addition to a competitive base.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • creating overall beverage program and flow of goods
  • develop cocktail recipes featuring signature drinks and seasonal offerings
  • leverage group buying power and develop detailed procurement program 
  • outfit bar with quality glassware, operating supplies and equipment 
  • hire and train all bar and support staff
  • develop metrics to measure staff engagement and overall performance 
  • implement comprehensive order guides and inventories
  • development and oversee all beverage standards - TIPs training, etc.
  • maintain and enforce an immaculate work environment
  • comply with all health and safety regulations per county code
  • develop customer relationships and promote elevated guest service
  • assist F&B team with management and support in all areas of the operation 

    Qualifications: 

    • minimum of 3 years in lead bartending position, preferably managing the beverage operation
    • strong communication skills - both written and verbal
    • deep understanding of all beverages and the ability to manage cost of goods
    • entrepreneurial at heart - develop sales goals, beverage specials, themed events
    • understand basic accounting and invoice management
