Core Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales and manage expenses to maximize departmental profitability.
  • Implement and uphold inventory management practices for all food and beverage items, as well as service ware.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and health regulations.
  • Maintain a visible presence during peak service times to guarantee exceptional guest experiences.
  • Oversee menu development and presentation for all dining options, including a la carte, buffets, Room Service, and Banquets.
  • Manage the selection, pricing, and procurement of food products, beverages, and wines.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all available liquor, wine, and beer brands.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit top talent and ensure staff training and performance evaluations are conducted effectively.
  • Design and execute training programs for culinary and service staff.
  • Achieve or surpass company benchmarks for guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Events Team to ensure client expectations are met during events.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a hotel food and beverage management role.
  • Strong financial acumen and proficiency in P&L management.
  • Culinary experience is advantageous; knowledge of food ordering and inventory is essential.
  • Proven leadership abilities and a commitment to establishing service excellence.
  • Certification in Serve Safe Food Handling and TIPS is required or must be obtained upon hire.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
