What do we need?

The Human Resources Coordinator for Aspirion is responsible for Human Resources for internal and external compliance and leave administration. This is an onsite position located in our Columbus, GA office.

What will you provide?

Maintains accurate and confidential employee data and records, such as disciplinary action, employee handbook acknowledgments, and other necessary employment information in Human Resources information system (HRIS). Responsible for maintaining electronic employee personnel files. Updates new hire information, performs offboarding duties, and performs other updates in the HRIS. Administers leaves of absence programs. Responsible for processing ADA accommodations, FMLA and other types of leave administration process from start to finish including obtaining and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use, and return to work processing. Performs HR Compliance-related activities such as running exclusions checks, background checks post-employment, completing employment verifications, etc. Processes and distributes mail received for HR in the Columbus office and via the general HR email mailbox to the appropriate HR staff Administers the Employee Referral Program by ensuring that referral bonuses are paid appropriately and timely. Assists with annual and ad hoc employee gift coordination Supports the maintenance of the company’s intranet for needed HR-specific updates Coordinates onsite blood drive; supports local operations staff with other onsite events Complies with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations Support other HR functions and projects as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting an HR department in a similar role required 2 years’ experience using MS Office software applications and HRIS systems required Experience with leave of absence administration strongly preferred Strong attention to detail with ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects, work to tight timeframes and achieve exceptional outcomes Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced evolving work environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines Highly developed oral and written interpersonal communication skills Familiarity with all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws Excellent organizational and time management skills Demonstrated ability to provide attention to detail Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Knowledge of HRIS systems

The US base pay rate for this position starts at $26.00 hourly. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered.
