Well-established engineering company with over 80 years of doing business in Hawaii is looking for a part-time HR Generalist to join their team This role will work directly with the President and department managers to assist with their hiring needs, employee management and labor relations.

Parking will be provided.

Hours Full-time, 7:30am-4:30pm, 20-25 hours per week Location Honolulu, Oahu Pay $30 to $40 an hour Responsibilities
  • Direct firm-wide professional development strategies/activities and establish training goals.
  • Assist with recruitment and placement functions for various departments.
  • Develop and maintain affirmative action program.
  • Maintain records, reports and logs conforming to EEO regulations.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews.
  • Prepare performance evaluation forms for departmental use.
  • Assist with benefit and insurance enrollment and processing.
  • Respond to inquiries or requests for facility services.
  • Coordinate facilities services in a timely manner.
  • Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of facilities requests.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred.
  • Previous Human Resource experience.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong concentration, alertness, and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work with others and be a team player.
