Our mission is to deliver Project GR00T, NVIDIA's moonshot initiative to build the AI brain for humanoid robots. You will work with an amazing and collaborative research team that consistently produces influential works on LLMs, foundation models, robotics, embodied AI, and physics simulation. We need a hardworking, passionate, and detail-oriented TPM to help make sure the team is maximally productive and stays on track.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain research and model release schedules, streamline workflows, lead project status meetings, and provide meeting minutes in a timely fashion.

Collect requirements, define priorities, understand critical roadblocks, and communicate effectively with team leads. Drive scheduling, planning, and execution of joint project milestones with other AI research teams across NVIDIA.
  • Coordinate with external partners, such as humanoid robot hardware companies, to align project timelines, deliverables, and integration efforts.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to prepare demos and promotional materials for tradeshows and GTC.
  • Manage the purchase and maintenance of lab equipment, ensuring all necessary hardware is available and functioning optimally. Work with facilities crew to address operational issues for a safe and efficient lab environment.
  • Monitor GPU cluster health, communicate new feature needs, and track critical bug reports with the infrastructure teams and make sure they are resolved.
  • Ensure all project documentation and FAQs are up-to-date and accessible to relevant collaborators.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Project GR00T-related inquiries, from both internal interest groups or external partners and customers.

What we need to see:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) with at least 6+ years of relevant experience as an engineer.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role, preferably in AI, robotics, software, or a related technical field.
  • Highly detailed with strong multi-tasking skills. You'll need to be able to handle 10+ project threads simultaneously and ensure successful milestones.
  • Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.
  • Adaptability to drive a fast-paced and dynamic work environment in the highly competitive AI research landscape.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written) to allow clear and concise communication with domestic and international partner companies.
  • This role is based in NVIDIA HQ (Santa Clara, CA), and requires the ability to come to the lab in person.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Strong technical background with an undergraduate-level understanding of AI, machine learning, and robotics concepts.
  • Hands-on coding experience. Familiarity with Python and related ML/AI frameworks.
  • Prior experience in working across geographies and time zones.
