POSITION SUMMARY:

Talent Development System Administrator is part of SICK's PCA Talent Management team and champions the employee journey by fostering a culture of learning and development. Key responsibilities include leading and administering SICK's Learning Management System (LMS), serving as an instructional designer responsible for developing e-learning, supporting talent development functions, and utilizing technology and analytics to solve business challenges.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage North American LMS systems, including Learning Management, Talent Management, and other related systems.
  • Serves as the local system administrator for the Global LMS.
  • Partner with key leaders to enhance LMS systems and act as technical support for implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Develop strategies for technology enhancements to improve Talent Development capabilities and drive system harmonization with Talent Management & People.
  • Monitor and report on systems-related KPIs and use data to develop business solutions.
  • Compile, analyze, and communicate Talent Management-related metrics and trends.
  • Oversee logistics for training events, including event registration, materials preparation, and responding to requests.
  • Maintain records of training activities, attendance, test results, and retraining requirements. Provide user training and hands-on support, ensuring system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Support the Safety and Production/Warehouse Teams in LMS training and reporting.
  • Prepare training status reports, exhibits, communications, and procedures.
  • Assess LMS utilization and recommend improvements for efficiency and value.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management team members to plan and customize the LMS, testing new applications and features.
  • Stay current on LMS trends, vendors, and technology, creating or acquiring training materials as needed.
  • Lead or participate in local and global projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, and budget-compliant completion.
  • Deliver or facilitate training sessions for employees when required.
  • Develop e-learning when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee competencies.
  • Manage time, travel expenses, and reporting accurately.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  • Four-year degree with either an academic or experiential orientation toward technical solutions and/or training program management.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in LMS administration;
  • Cornerstone system experience required; knowledge of Success Factor and ADP systems are preferred.
  • Experience with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).

  • Digital mindset and ability to work across organizational borders.
  • Strong experience in the development of instructional materials (e-learning, facilitator guides, job aids, reference guides, audio and video scripts, storyboards, navigational text, assessments, etc.).
  • Proficient in a variety of learning technologies (Cornerstone, Articulate 360, Vyond, Canva).
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States
