Lago is the open-source platform that helps engineers build better monetization systems. We enable software teams to build customizable and scalable usage metering, subscription management, billing, invoicing, and payment systems.
Lago is the leader of our category on Github (5k+ stars), won « Product of the month » on ProductHunt, and is used by leading companies such as Mistral, Together, Swan, Juni, Fintecture, JuliaHub, Regate, Flipside Crypto, Unifonic, Vida.id , Bureau.id, Sortium.
Lago’s founding team previously built and scaled the home-grown monetization system of fintech unicorn Qonto from pre-launch to series D.
Lago is a 15-people team today, and we’re hiring for another 15 people. The Product / Engineering team is a 12-people team. The “business” team is therefore (we’ll let you do the maths) still small and is led by our CEO Anh-Tho, who used to be the VP Growth at a $5B fintech company.
Sales are currently founder-led, by Raffi & Anh-Tho. We are looking for our first Account Executives to take our Sales to the next level.
You’ll need to iterate on positioning, the pitch, the lead generation and closing processes, while continuously closing deals with early adopters.
If you’re looking for a ‘plug and play’ sales position with an existing playbook and a sophisticated CRM, this is not the place for you.
If you’re always looking to push yourself out of your comfort zone, love closing deals, figuring things out and then scale them to switch to the next burning challenge, this is a great fit.
Our product has two sides:
1/ An API for engineers
2/ An intuitive no-code user interface for business users: Finance, Revenue, Customer Success teams
You don’t need to be an expert in any of these areas, but you need to be comfortable building relationships to bring value to each of these teams.
The ideal candidate will have
3+ years of experience in a Sales role for a technical product, and/or Product and/or Solution Engineering experience in an early stage startup (seed to series B) A demonstrated intellectual curiosity, drive and impact in any other field than sales You don't need to be a developer, but having attended coding bootcamps is a big plus Fluent in English (bonus points if you speak French or Spanish) A real appetite for the early stages of co-creating a product and shaping Lago's futureLearn more how we think and work
