Sales Development Manager

Job Description Summary

The Sales Development Manager oversees the sales and marketing process of the company. They identify new opportunities, create sales strategies, and lead a team of Marketers. They analyze data to determine the effectiveness of sales campaigns, identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to increase sales and improve customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Promote the company's mission of providing peace of mind and helping people live longer, healthier lives
  • Effectively work with Company leadership and departments in carrying out your responsibilities, building positive relationships with department leaders, marketers, and downline agents and agencies.
  • Responsibility for training and employee performance (call monitoring, employee motivation, sporadic and quarterly evaluations),
  • Development of training resources.
  • Stay current and monitor industry and educational trends
  • Attend and facilitate meetings, participating as a contributor in group sessions
  • Flexible to travel as necessary
  • Learn and effectively leverage product knowledge, telephony system and customer relationship management software (CRM)
  • Actively practice the core values of honesty, integrity, accountability, excellence, and courage

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Fluent in English or bilingual in English/Spanish
  • A track record of successful sales and customer service training experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Work well with others during conversations, projects, meetings and other collaborations (teamwork)
  • Understand effective training methodologies and tools
  • Have a great stage presence and the ability to engage an audience with compassion, positive attitude, high energy, knowledge and a professional demeanor
  • Have strong listening and communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Be extremely self-motivated individual with strong work ethic
  • Have superior coaching skills
  • Have a strong desire to help people learn
