Your RoleThe Legal Studio is looking for an experienced Legal Operations Technology Manager to oversee and implement technology solutions within the Legal Studio, with the goal of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team through the use of technology. A key initial priority of this role is to lead, develop and manage Gensler’s Contract Management solution. This role is highly collaborative in nature and you will need to work effectively with our matrix organization to determine business requirements. You will partner closely with our Information Services, Data Platform, IT teams and Regional Leaders to ensure successful implementations and product releases.
What You Will Do- Assessing the technology needs and requirements of the Legal Studio
- Researching and evaluating new and emerging legal technologies
- Implementing and managing legal software systems and tools
- Providing training and support to the legal team on the use of technology
- Working closely with the Legal Studio Leadership and other members of the legal team to understand their technology needs and to develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Managing technology projects and initiatives, including vendor relationships and budgets
- Develop a product road map for Contract Management System by collaborating with leadership and other stakeholders to establish long-range strategic plans
- Manage and troubleshoot Contract Management system
- Design, develop, implement new contract workflows in Contract Management System and effectively communicate status to senior leadership on a regular basis
- Provide training to practitioners and Legal Studio
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience as a Legal Technology Manager in a legal department or Product Manager for a Contract Management System
- Experience implementing a Contract Management System
- Experience with Ironclad a plus
- Strong track record of owning end to end initiatives
- Experience with agile software development processes
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The compensation for this position is estimated between $130-150k, plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience
