In this role, you will:

  • Lead the competitive intelligence program for Personal Care products, ensuring the application of best practices and advanced research principles.

  • Conduct audits, benchmarking, and monitor competitive products and develop/implement strategies to monitor and analyze competitive landscapes, identifying trends, product changes.

  • Interface with R&E functions (product, materials, and process), marketing, legal, patent facilitators, sales, and corporate strategy teams.

  • Utilize competitive insights to influence current business projects and strategies, contributing to the company's market positioning and product innovation.

  • Manage the competitive intelligence database, ensuring accurate documentation and continuous improvement of best practices.

  • Develop and present analytical reports, bulletins, and visual management tools to communicate findings to business unit teams.

  • Communicate insights and trends to relevant stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations.

  • Provide Competitive Insights coaching and mentorship to product development leads and product technicians.

  • Engage in competitive claims challenges, patent reviews, and grade cost assessments.

  • Utilize competitive insights to influence current business projects and strategies, contributing to the company's market positioning and product innovation.

In one of our professional roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or engineering discipline from an accredited institution.

  • At least 5 or more years of experience in technical roles, with a demonstrated ability to lead and achieve results.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Business acumen with experience in driving business analysis and decision-making.

Preferred:

  • Solid experience in competitive intelligence, consumer products, materials, and/or product development.

  • Strong analytical skills with technical knowledge in product quality, test methods, and laboratory techniques.
