A little about you

Requirements

-Previous IT asset procurement with 2+ years of related experience
-Experience with Ivanti Service Manager (Vendors, Contracts, Purchasing, Assets) a PLUS
-ITIL Certification a PLUS
-Experience using spreadsheet software, time tracking software, purchasing software and relevant office software
-Works with a high degree of integrity; maintains confidentiality
-Strong verbal and written communication skills to determine the company's product needs and to create constructive relationships with vendors.
-Effective negotiator
-Must have strong problem-solving skills
 

Day-to-Day Work Examples

-Works with members of the IT community and with Business partners on IT related purchases and some office purchases
-Evaluate and negotiate pricing and/or contracts with technology vendors
-Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
-Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
-Helps with initial vendor contract documents – Create all PO’s required from vendors and provide to department requestor/directors
-Researches, interviews, and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
-Research and respond to inquiries of order status, changes, cancellations, etc.
-Process equipment returns and track purchase credits
-Receives invoices and work with finance to ensure they are paid and confirm purchases are charged to correct company departments.
-Follows financial processes and controls
-Oversees receipt and stocking / inventory activities / delivery in house of purchased items
-Capital Funding Request (CFR) Reviews – review requested equipment listed (or software licenses) are company standard, approved items.
-DOMAIN / Web Certificate management
-Maintains excellent records and audit trail
