Key Responsibilities:

  • The Procurement Analyst will oversee a specific segment of the Animal Health Technology sector, conducting in-depth analyses of relevant data to provide valuable insights to the organization.
  • The selected individual will assist in various tasks related to Vendor Enablement and Material Management, ensuring a comprehensive network of vendors is appropriately vetted, contracted, and integrated into ongoing SAP initiatives.
  • The successful candidate will actively engage in procurement activities, executing tactical processes and serving as a knowledgeable resource regarding operational procedures and systems to support business goals.
  • Responsibilities will also include gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to facilitate sourcing initiatives aimed at reducing references and enhancing sustainability.

Main Duties Include:

  • Conducting vendor assessments, due diligence, and compliance checks as per departmental and market standards.
  • Creating tools, templates, and trackers for the manual collection and analysis of extensive data sets.
  • Gathering product specifications and documentation, ensuring clear delineation of intellectual property ownership between the client and external partners.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders and line managers to analyze collected data, identifying opportunities for consolidation and simplification.
  • Implementing sourcing projects, negotiations, and vendor contracts in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Performance metrics will be based on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to cost savings, vendor consolidation, and adherence to project timelines.
