Supervisory Human Resources Specialist

Directs, oversees, and evaluates the activities of the Branch including responsibility for the development of mission area programs, policies, and procedures relative to providing a full spectrum of human resource development (HRD) functions.
Provides staff level guidance and assistance to mission area officials and employees on a variety of
instructional, curriculum training, and HRD issues and activities.
Identifies and implements training and workforce development policies, processes and systems across
serviced Agencies.
Manages the design, revision, adaptation, and implementation of a variety of systems, programs, courses, materials, devices, and aids to facilitate the instructional, training, and human resource development activities (HRD) for Rural Development.
Manages the development and integration of e-learning technologies into the HRD and training program in Rural Development.
As Branch Chief, serves as first-line supervisor over the Human Resources Talent Management Branch
consisting of staff working both in office, telework, and remotely.
