Vaco Los Angeles is working with a client near El Segundo, Ca who is looking to add am AR/Billing specialist to their team. The AR/Billing specialist will be responsible for all accounts receivable functions which includes maintaining the accounts receivable ledgers, preparing reports as well as other related functions. This position is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the receivables and related G/L line items.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records including invoices to customers
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Record payments received by credit card
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Enter key data of financial transactions in database daily
  • Preparing Monthly Reports
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws


Skills & Qualifications:
  • BA in Accounting is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication with ability to work well in a team
  • Must be organized and able to work well in fast paced environment
  • Proven accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Someone with previous experience in entertainment preferred
