Who we're looking for

Toyota's Environmental & Facilities Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Facilities Operations Group Leader - Weekend Shift.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support manufacturing facility operations at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Missouri (TMMMO) Selected candidate will manage a team of 6 team members.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Environmental & Facilities Operations, the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facilities Department's objective to help lead activities to ensure reliable and efficient operations of facilities at TMMMO.

This position will work Weekend Shift, Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

What you'll be doing

Lead by "Safety First" mindset, using principles such as 'Customer First and Respect for Team Members' along with learning & implementing the core foundation of the Toyota Production System in day-to-day operations.Coach and develop Facilities Maintenance team members on a daily basis, provide clear direction, technical resources, training & work plans.Supporting daily operations and maintenance for Plant utility and building systems - Power, chilled water, compressed air, HVAC, water supply, wastewater, and dust collection equipment.Tracking and identifying operational issues and problem solve with countermeasures via maintenance repairs, and/or contract support.Creating a standardized process(s) and documentation for various control systemsSupporting programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and/or repairing programmable logic controllers for facilities engineering systemsProject planning and project management coordination for energy and water reductionLead activity to support Company Target(s) & Objective(s) such as Key Performance Indicators for Safety, Quality, Cost, etc.Leading a team for daily response to equipment issues as not to impact and/or minimize downtime to production.Develop next generation of Facilities Maintenance Team Members.
What you bring

Experience in Facilities Maintenance in a manufacturing environment, including Preventive Maintenance and exposure to power, chilled water, compressed air, HVAC, water supply, wastewater, dust collection and similar equipment and processesPLC experience for Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or similar including troubleshooting and problem solvingExperience with mechanical & electrical schematics, including the ability to read, interpret and modifyDemonstrated ability to perform failure diagnosis, including identifying and reporting on failure of componentsAbility to work Weekend Shift, Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Technical degree (Associate's or higher) in electrical/mechanical/industrial or similar technical fieldWorking knowledge of Floor Management Development System (FMDS) and Workplace Organization (5S - Sift / Sort / Sweep / Sustain / Standardize)Supervisory experience, with responsibility for direct reportsExperience with cost management & cost reduction activitiesExperience training Team Members, through classroom and/or On the Job training
