Directs, plans, and implements the daily activities of the account receivables services information systems department to maximize efficiencies. Provides information systems support to multiple business units and works with the account receivables management team to ensure efficient and automated processes. Supports and troubleshoots on site hardware and other technical issues related to proprietary systems.Key Position Details:

Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
- Operations
- Plan, coordinate, direct and facilitate department computer related activities.
- Analyzes the computer information needs from an operational and strategic perspective and determines immediate and long term system requirements.
- Leads the review of system design and code and demonstrates expert level software development methods, design, and programming techniques.
- Works with internal and external customers to create appropriate system changes according to specified requirements.
- Interprets, determines, defines, and gathers requirements and specifications for applications and functions being developed.
- Analyzes, designs, develops, and tests reports and data feeds.
- Prepares data model and technical design specifications pertinent to applications and functions being developed and develops applications and functions consistent with design specifications and data models.
- Develops and coordinates the creation of information databases to promote the sharing of information with users inside as well as outside customers.
- Plans, designs, schedules, writes and debugs database stored procedures and complex queries to extract, calculate, and manipulate information.
- Systems Administration
- Supports data management strategies and Information Systems infrastructure including database performance tuning for optimal performance, database backup and recovery, data integration, partitioning, archiving and replication.
- Manages systems backup and disaster recovery and documentation.
- Builds and manages systems including telecom systems.
- Supports and monitors hardware, operating system, database and application software.
- Plans and coordinates installation of upgrading hardware and software.
- Departmental Leadership
- Recruits, hires and performance manages team members.
- Manages and evaluates team performance to goals.
- Implements the vision and strategic priorities of the department.
- Determines technical and business goals and prepares detailed plans for implementation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Vocational or Technical Training in Computer Science, Information Technology or business related field required or
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or business related field preferred
- 5 to 7 years experience in one or more business aspects of information systems development. May have particular, in-depth experience in a key business area or key proprietary system required
