Your Role:

As the Manager of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, you will develop, lead, direct, and implement human resource strategies for the Partnership for Education Advancement. Your role is operational and strategic, leading and supporting efforts that deliver organizational effectiveness, an innovative and thriving work environment, and a solid culture to meet the organization's growing needs through successful talent acquisition and management strategies. You will also act as a critical point of contact for staff throughout the organization, maximizing staff engagement, contribution, and satisfaction. 

You must have solid leadership skills, experience developing strategic HR initiatives, and a proven track record in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. You must be based in Washington, D.C., and work a hybrid-remote schedule, with two days per week required in the office.

To thrive, you should have:

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of HR experience.Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment legislation, and benefits administration.Leadership experience in implementing equity-focused HR policies and coaching managers.High emotional intelligence with strong problem-solving and conflict-management skills.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management abilities, with a commitment to confidentiality.

Your responsibilities as the Manager of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition will include:

Develop and Manage HR Strategy: Oversee HR plans for benefits, compensation, leave, performance management, and staff development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Lead Talent Acquisition: Direct recruitment and hiring processes to attract top talent and seamlessly manage onboarding to integrate new staff.Support Employee Relations: Address complex employee concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.Oversee Performance Management: Implement and manage fair performance appraisal systems, fostering continuous professional development.Administer Compensation and Benefits: Manage competitive pay structures and comprehensive benefits programs, enhancing employee satisfaction.Enhance Organizational Culture: Implement strategies to boost employee engagement, support career development, and foster a positive workplace culture.
