What you'll do In this support role on AlixPartners' Corporate Services team, you will directly assist our People Business Partners on a wide range of tasks related to day-to-day functions and operations, as well as project work to support the team's strategic agenda. The People Team Administrator is a temporary role (approximately 6 months) in Dallas, TX or Southfield, MI, and reports to a People Business Partner Manager. Paid relocation is not available for this contract role. Respond to staff inquiries regarding human resources-related matters and proactively troubleshoot as appropriate. Maintain employee information within internal databases and systems. Coordinate with internal teams to manage employee transactions, including transfers and leaves of absence. Handle people team reporting requests, including synthesizing data in a digestible format. Assist with performance management processes, including, but not limited to, drafting communications, coordinating review sessions, organizing materials, and managing data. Provide support in employee onboarding and offboarding. Coordinate training initiatives with internal teams and external vendors. Assist in designing and implementing people-related ad hoc programs, such as networking and social events, panel discussions, and others, to facilitate employee engagement, inclusion, and development. Contribute to firmwide initiatives and process improvements within the people space. Additional responsibilities and project work as identified. What you'll need Bachelor's degree preferred. 2-4 years' experience in Human Resources, ideally in a professional services firm. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications. Familiarity with Human Capital Management (HCM) software is a plus (e.g. Oracle, Workday, SAP, Ultipro, ADP, etc.). Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers at all levels. Ability to be discreet and handle confidential, sensitive information. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously with high attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement with a high degree of initiative. Desire to learn new skills and continuously improve. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise. Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
