We are currently seeking a Digital Sales Consultant to join our team as a full time hybrid employee in our Franklin, TN office, or as a full time remote employee in either the Northeast or Southeast regions of the United States. The Digital Sales Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for our auction and dealer customers who utilize EDGE Pipeline. Working with leadership, this role will be responsible for developing and executing a plan to increase revenue by promoting the adoption of our digital products with select auctions and dealers. The Sales Consultant will constantly work to identify opportunities for growth and ways to create an exceptional customer experience. Utilizing both in person and virtual communication channels, the Digital Sales Consultant will build strong relationships with both current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for auctions and dealers using EDGE Pipeline, providing an exceptional customer experience via in-person, virtual, and phone communication
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to increase adoption of EDGE Pipeline’s digital products and offerings
- Actively seek out opportunities opportunities for growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction within the auction industry
- Frequently travel to auction and dealer sites to build strong relationships with both current and prospective customers (up to 80% travel)
- Drive revenue by promoting our digital products to select dealers, showing them how our offerings and inventory from over 175 auctions can enhance the success of their business
- Provide support both in person and remotely, addressing customer needs, solving problems, and ensuring a positive experience with our products
- Develop and execute growth plans for auctions and dealers in an assigned territory
- Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ by collecting and articulating opportunities for product adoption and/or enhancements and communicating them to leadership
- Regularly partner with leadership and other key internal stakeholders to drive product adoption strategy
- Immerse yourself in the wholesale auto auction and dealer industries and become a subject matter expert by staying up to date with market and industry trends
- Interface with personnel at physical auctions to help dealers and auctions build stronger relationships
- Meet and exceed clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Utilize our CRM to build, maintain, and track a pipeline of current and prospective customers
- Be on the phone, email, text and Zoom uncovering and nurturing new leads
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to access a wide network of resources that can help our auction and dealer customers
- Strong negotiating skills
- Ability to travel to customers, conferences, offsite meetings, trainings and prospects outside of your area
- Understand the automotive wholesale and retail industry
- Be fearless in creativity and drive to help our dealer customers be successful with our auction customers

Qualifications
- Ability to work independently to deliver results
- Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding KPIs in a sales environment
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Availability to travel to customers, conferences, offsite meetings, trainings and prospects outside of your area (up to 80% travel)
- Eager to learn about the wholesale auto auction industry and be part of an industry transformation
- Able to monitor and understand industry trends in your territory, and able to change tactics accordingly.
- Able to keep calm in difficult situations, treating all parties with respect and dignity to find positive resolutions
- Detail oriented with excellent follow through
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Comfortable working with software, technology and data
- Experience with Google suite and CRMs preferred
