Summary:   The Retail Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service within Hard Rock Stadiumâs retail merchandise outlets by supervising merchandise staff at all points of sale and by assisting with merchandise-related needs within designated retail sales outlets.  Assigned work areas may include permanent stands or mobile stands or kiosks, well as in-venue retail stores and/or standalone retail stores where merchandise is sold.   The Retail Supervisor delivers first class service, resulting in a first-class experience for guests at Hard Rock Stadium events including Miami Dolphins games, the Miami Open, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, University of Miami Football, major concerts, international soccer, and other world class events. This position is part-time and requires commitments on weekends, evenings, and holidays.   Location:   This is a part-time/hourly position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.   Responsibilities:
  • Work all Stadium events including Miami Dolphins games, University of Miami Football games, the Miami Open tennis tournament, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, Concerts, Festivals, and various special events
  • Perform duties according to procedures for opening and closing merchandise locations at start and close of business
  • Observe, model and coach staff on all sales, guest service and operational standards
  • Assist in educating staff regarding product knowledge and serve as an information resource for any questions they may have
  • Apply consistent focus on the customer and pay close attention to detail in the performance of all tasks
  • Acknowledge every guest who enters specialty retail areas
  • Display alert posture, smile, make direct eye contact and offer a sincere verbal greeting
  • Be courteous and professional in all interactions
  • Assist guests in locating specific desired merchandise; proactively inquire if they are in search of a particular item
  • Know merchandise inventory and available styles, colors, sizes, and options for each item
  • Monitor and encourage staffâs use of suggestive selling techniques by recommending specific items and up-selling techniques by recommending additional items that complement items already being purchased
  • Continually observe surroundings and monitor guests in retail areas to ensure they are properly attended to by retail staff, even when âjust browsingâ
  • Immediately alert Security of any suspicious activity
  • Intervene in instances of guest dissatisfaction
  • Work diligently to resolve issues and address their concerns so that no guest leaves unhappy
  • Maintain positive, on-going communication with Retail Operations Manager
  • Relay information regarding guest complaints and/or feedback as well as any issues regarding inventory, equipment, or facilities
  • Make proactive suggestions for improving the customer experience in retail outlets
  • Follow established procedure for time and attendance and taking assigned meal breaks
  • Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail or customer service role
  • Demonstrated ability to understand instructions from supervisor(s) and Stadium management
  • Flexible Schedule â willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Exceptional customer service skills
