Wage: $23.57 hr. *Overtime may be required.
Shift: 1st- 7:00 am -3:30 pm. Monday -Friday

While reporting to the Plant Manager or Designee, as the Administrative Coordinator you are accountable for processing invoices, managing the trucker scale operation, maintaining driving records, time logs, etc. The individual in this position is trusted with confidential information and must always maintain professionalism in the workplace.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for operating the scale house.  Schedule loads for shipment.
  • Weighs all incoming recyclable materials.
  • Calculates weights and makes cash payment purchases of both loose and baled recyclables.
  • Balance cash and weights daily and follows proper procedures for reporting to the Office Manager.
  • Maintains good working relations with customers and waste suppliers.
  • Assists with daily/weekly/month-end reporting.
  • Performs office clerical assignments, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that required files are adequately maintained.
  • Maintains accurate Commercial Driving records, time logs, mileage, fuel, etc. as required.
  • Working knowledge of accounting basic practices.
  • Working knowledge of trucking industry (preferred).
  • Performs other similar duties as assigned.

  • Have Associates Degree (Preferred)
  • Can Perform basic office functions – answering telephone calls, data entry, scale operation.
  • Have intermediate accounting knowledge – processing invoices for payments.
  • Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically word and excel.
  • Ability to interact with customers daily to assist with their accounts, payments, and/or any issues that may arise.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
