Job Summary:

In this role, you will monitor work practices daily on a field project and advise superiors of observed or anticipated labor problems. You will support staffing plans, wage trend studies, and the development and presentation of craft training and orientation programs. Your work will contribute to positive workplace relationships by facilitating communication and ensuring compliance with labor laws. 

Major Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the development of internal labor studies and other Labor Relations reports, including research (online) and through third parties.
  • Performs research and develops statistical information and studies on issues such as productivity, labor union or construction industry trends and practices.
  • Extracts information from labor union contracts and prepares wage bulletins or wage trend studies.
  • Assists with the development of labor surveys for projects and prospects that include supply and demand data and competing project information.
  • Assists with preparation of wage workbooks to provide estimating for prospective projects and researches and provides data from government websites for information such as Davis Bacon Act wages, fringes, and benefits.
  • Attends meetings and participates in discussions of anticipated or immediate labor relations related requirements.
  • Performs other special projects as requested.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Global Business Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, Social Studies, or related degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Comfortable working in either an office or field environment.
