Job Summary

YRCI seeks a seasoned Employee Relations Specialist to provide expert guidance and support to management on Labor Relations and Employee Relations matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Federal HR experience, with a minimum of 4 years of specialized experience in Employee Relations and Labor Relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to management on ER and LR matters, ensuring compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and negotiated procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to resolve workplace conflicts and disputes, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with management to negotiate and administer labor agreements, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of employees.
  • Conduct training sessions on discipline, employee rights, and management rights, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
  • Review and analyze grievances, appeals, and adverse personnel actions, providing expert advice and guidance to management.
  • Prepare reports and summaries on the status of the program, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 10 years of Federal HR experience, with at least 4 years of specialized experience in Employee Relations and Labor Relations.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Proven administrative skills and experience with HR automated systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, producing high-quality work in a timely manner.
