Ensures the integration of IT programs and services. Duties will include Knowledge of program management principals, principles, methods, and practices, including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, and evaluating and reporting on accomplishments to manage assigned programs; and prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex/controversial issues. Facilitating strategic planning and collaboration with stakeholders to define operational needs and develop roadmap(s) which address ATO shortfalls with IT solutions. Coordinate IT infrastructure planning and collaboration with vendor IT and second level teams as it relates to NAS surveillance and support systems. This includes network architecture, server provisioning and integration within applicable policies, procedures, and requirements. Applies a comprehensive technical knowledge of the ATO’s policy and planning formulation process; capital investment planning principles and methods; and the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. Support management in prioritization of work, formulation of funding requests and monitoring of project status and associated risks. Serve as the primary point of contact for specific software tools utilized within the radar operations team. This involves evaluations of software licenses, terms of use, and regulatory requirements to ensure adherence to intellectual property laws, export controls, and other relevant regulations. Draws on experience to solve unusual problems and create new solutions and policy interpretations as the situation requires. Provides policy guidance and instruction to others, both internally and externally. Contribute to the creation of innovative solutions to new and unusual problems. Project oversight for radar system components within the framework of NAS systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality across related interfaces. Performs other duties as assigned.
