Director of Sales

As the Director of Sales and Marketing for our esteemed luxury hotel, you will lead the charge in driving revenue and enhancing the hotel's brand presence. This pivotal role demands a dynamic and strategic professional with a proven track record in luxury hospitality sales and marketing. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies to elevate the hotel's market position and exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for rooms, events, and other hotel offerings.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners.
Lead the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and expanding the hotel's client base.
Marketing and Brand Management:
Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that enhance the hotel's brand image and drive demand.
Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, websites, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels.
Revenue Management:
Utilize data-driven insights to optimize pricing strategies and maximize revenue.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform pricing and promotional decisions.
Implement and manage effective revenue management tools and systems.
Event and Catering Sales:
Drive event and catering sales, working closely with the events team to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Collaborate with event planners, wedding coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of events.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and set challenging but achievable targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the luxury hotel industry.
In-depth knowledge of luxury market trends and customer behaviors.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
