Our Opportunity: 

Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Sr. Manager, Business Development, South to join our Firehouse Subs Franchising Team.  The Sr. Manager, Business Development leads the efforts on franchising, from initial contact to qualification, to close, within their designated territory.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed new restaurant growth targets with new and existing franchisees in designated territoryâ
  • Eagerly seek out and identify franchisee candidates via sales â phone, networking, referrals, social media, road shows and our lead generation marketing partnersâ
  • Build and cultivate relationships with franchisee candidates as a trusted advisor, educating candidates on the Firehouse Subs franchise model and franchise disclosure documentâ
  • Align with cross-functional team to understand and master market planningâ
  • Facilitate introductions of the candidates to other internal stakeholders for deal approvalâ
  • Abide by all state, federal, and local laws pertaining to franchise sales & disclosure information

Required Skills: 

  • 5+ years of performance-based sales experience, preferably in the franchise industryâ
  • Understanding of franchise business fundamentals, unit-level operations, franchise best practices and ideal franchise ownersâ
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and motivate othersâ
  • Ability to accurately forecast and assess riskâ
  • Strong financial analysis ability with ability to build Excel and financial modeling for diligence and deal negotiationâ
  • Strong organizational, project management, written and oral communication skillsâ
  • Good time management and critical thinking skillsâ
  • Proactive, assertive and polished leader with a relentless pursuitâ
  • Ability to travel as needed (25% of the time)â
  • Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growthâ
