Senior Brand Manager, Innovation and GTM
Position Overview
As the Senior Brand Manager, Innovation and GTM at Face Reality Skincare, you will spearhead the development of new product lines and market strategies for a range of product categories across our professional skincare line. In this role you are responsible for translating insights into meaningful, sustainable, brand growth through innovation.
You will be responsible for leading the development of new products from concept to commercialization, driving brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, and skincare industry knowledge. This role will report to the Director of Growth and Innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Innovation Pipeline: Leverage your knowledge in product and expertise recognizing untapped potential to develop comprehensive plans for successful new product innovations, renovations, and offerings (i.e. new sizes). Manage the innovation pipeline, prioritize product development projects, and align them with market needs and consumer preferences. Partner with Product Development to assess feasibility of concepts, substantiate claims, and bring new products to life. Ensure all innovations meet all financial hurdles, costs, margin and revenue potential/target goals and objectives, and manage on-time project delivery.
- Go-to-Market: Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new products, including product positioning, pricing, distribution, forecasts, and promotional plans. Build a launch playbook from scratch and optimize with each new launch. Lead new item briefs across channels including digital advertising, social media, email, web and print to execute best-in-class launches.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform business strategies. Conduct thorough market research on competitive landscape and emerging opportunities in the industry. Analyze market data and consumer trends to spot white space opportunities ripe for innovation.
- Packaging Artwork & Labeling: Lead packaging artwork, including design, copy, claims, and requirements, in partnership with Product Development.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with teams including product development, brand, finance, and customer success to lead internal innovation processes, owning the master timeline and key deliverables.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and product launches, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve KPIs and ROI targets.
- Budget Management: Determine COGs, target margin analysis and make pricing recommendations. Manage marketing budgets for product launches and campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Legal Compliance/IP: Liase with PD, legal counsel, and cross functional team to qualify /support product claims; work with PD on packaging formula and claims regulatory compliance. Develop trademark and claims strategies for new product launches.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years marketing experience in CPG product development or product marketing
- Proven track record of driving profitable growth from product innovation from concept to commercialization
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Business or Science; MBA a plus
- Consistently demonstrates leadership – taking accountability, inspiring trust, fostering collaboration, and driving organization alignment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to keep multiple project timelines on track simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail

Salary: $120k-$135k plus bonus and full benefits
