POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Brand Manager develops and executes marketing strategies for all phases of marketing, including but not limited to strategic planning, positioning, creative development, promotions, and PR coordination for high-profile retail and digital game releases. They liaise with product development studios and global marketing teams to maximize profitability, ensure transparency, and coordinate with regional teams for a unified global brand launch program. They will manage the implementation and execution of integrated marketing plans and provide guidance to team members.Join us at our new campus in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIndependently develop and execute world-class integrated marketing campaigns for top tier titlesDrive the process of strategic positioning, competitive analysis, and marketing products across console and digital platforms with little to no oversight.Create and manage budgets, and provide oversight for individual P&Ls for assigned product(s), while also tracking and reporting marketing expenses against defined budgetManage and direct internal resources and external agencies/vendors to effectively guide all stages of product marketing. Including, but not limited to all planning & project timelines related to creative development (including packaging/POP/POS), advertising, public relations, social media, special events, trade and consumer promotions, and price negotiationEvaluate, monitor, and provide solutions of improvement for paid media campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics such as CPC, traffic, conversions, and ROI/ROAS goalsConduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for products and develop related product plansCreate, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voiceWork effectively with internal teams and create and strengthen external relationships to insure seamless integration and execution of our global marketing campaignsIdeate and implement strategies regarding the growth of Bandai Namco’s portfolio of original IP and licensed anime branded games and partner with licensors and key industry collaboratorsLead and mentor a brand marketing team of at least 2 peopleQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS5 + years of experience managing innovative video game marketing, entertainment product marketing, or equivalent experience on a global scale2+ years of people management experienceProven track record of successful marketing project management in a leadership role and managing P&L for productsEntrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong knowledge and interest in video games and gaming culture0-25% travel for trade shows, international business meetings, and various eventsEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related fieldMBA graduate preferred Salary Range: $117,062 - $188,687Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
