Practice Detail: We are seeking a Cardiac Surgery PA to join our elite team.
Facility: St. Vincent Hospital & St. Ascension Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider with 2+ years of experience in Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular Surgery to join our surgical APP team. The team consists of 6 Cardiac Surgeons and 12 Cardiac Surgery PAs. Incoming APP will be involved with complex CV surgical cases as part of a team of highly specialized physicians and assistants. Participates in the care and medical decision making for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patients at both Indianapolis locations, St. Endoscopic Vein & Radial Artery harvest using the Maquet Vasoview Hemopro I and/or Hemopro II systems. Surgical First assistant: cases include CABG, aortic and mitral valve repair/replacement, ECMO Insertion, VAD insertion & heart transplant cases.
Order, perform and interpret imaging, data and labs.
2+ years CV Surgery OR experience preferred
Schedule/Call Rotation:
Position is Full-time day-shift with rotating on-call assignments.
Daily, Weekend and Holiday On-Call assignments are split evenly amongst the 12 surgical PAs.
