Job Summary:

As the Regional Business Development Director, you'll provide strategic leadership on a global scale, driving business growth, expanding market presence, and crafting high-impact sales strategies in alignment with our vision and values. This role reports directly to the CEO and oversees the sales and marketing teams across the USA and South America.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

· Define short-term and long-term sales objectives

· Craft and execute comprehensive sales strategies, roadmaps and plans in line with our vision and core values.

· Identify specific growth opportunities in perishable freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution.

· Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.

Leadership and Management:

· Lead by example, actively engaging in high-value sales endeavors.

· Manage and enhance the existing sales operating model

· Mentor and direct sales teams in the USA, Ecuador, and Colombia.

· Set clear objectives and performance metrics, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of customer agreements.

· Prepare and deliver insightful reports periodically to the CEO and leadership team.

Revenue Growth and Profitability:

· Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities within our existing scope.

· Optimize pricing strategies, SOPs, SLAs, and pricing agreements.

Market Expansion and Customer Relationship:

· Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities for expanding our market presence.

· Acquire and onboard new customers by presenting innovative solutions and value propositions.

· Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and partners to foster business growth.

Marketing and Branding:

· Oversee marketing and branding initiatives that mirror our goals and values.

· Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns and promotional materials.

· Oversee planning and participation in trade shows and industry events.

· Professionally represent the company at public events, trade shows, industry conferences and customer visits, projecting a positive image and promoting brand awareness.

Innovation and Technology:

· Leverage technology to enhance the sales process and customer engagement.

· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance.

· Make data-driven decisions to improve sales and business development strategies.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).

· Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

· Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles.

· Deep industry knowledge, preferably in perishable freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution.

· Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Tech-savvy with expertise in CRM and sales analytics tools.

· Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.

· Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
