As a Tax Accountant, you will:
Prepares the company's federal, state, and local tax returns by examining accounts and records and computing tax returns according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations.
Audits financial records to determine tax liability.
Prepares claims for tax refunds, maintains tax records, prepares routine and special tax reports, and advises management regarding business, internal programs, and activities as they relate to tax matters.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
Financial, General Ledger Experience.
Payroll Tax Experience.
Strong Excel Skills.
Assistance is needed with recording weekly payroll tax withholdings.
Reconciling tax withholdings by company and filing entity.
Preparing tax deposits.
Filing Month, Quarterly and Annual Tax Returns.
Responding to tax correspondence.
Researching additional state & local income taxes.
