Tax Staff Accountant/Tax Sr. Accountant (onsite)
  • Prepare and review accuracy and detail of corporate tax returns.
  • Assist in all aspects of Federal, State, and Local income/franchise and indirect tax compliance related to domestic operations, including maintenance of the compliance tax calendar, determination of nexus and related filing requirements, management of tax return preparation, and detailed review of all domestic tax returns and estimated tax payments.
  • Participate and assist with ASC 740 calculations and related issues for financial statement reporting, including necessary financial statement disclosures.
  • Respond to tax notices.
    Prepare compliance filings and follow up with correspondence.
  • Calculate tax depreciation schedules
  • Assist with tax provisions.
  • This role will also help with personal and property tax filings, payroll tax, and research.
  • Maintain company's tax records and calendar.
  • For related tax accounts, handle month-end activities, journal entries and accruals.
  • G/L account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulation
  • Strong systems skills & strong communication skills.
  • Seeking about 2 years of experience ideally from public accounting and on track for CPA license.
