Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a BIM Modeler at Benchmark Utility Services in Sterling, VA. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and detailed building information models for construction projects. The role involves collaberation with project managers, architects, and engineers, to develop and maintain BIM execution plans.


Responsibilities


  • Coordinate the BIM process throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Facilitate clash detection and resolution with the design team
  • Provide support to project management team
  • Conduct regular audits of all BIM models to ensure adherence to codes and standards
  • Provide and present BIM deliverables to clients


Qualifications

  • Experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and working with BIM software
  • Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks
  • Proficiency in modeling Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
  • Ability to create and modify BIM models to meet project requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in BIM modeling
