  • Develop project-specific families tailored to the projects under leadership.
  • Oversee and manage the modeling and documentation of assigned projects.
  • Organize and delegate tasks to ensure timely project deliverables.
  • Refine and prepare background drawings/models for integration into the Revit model.
  • Create comprehensive Revit models utilizing backgrounds from various trades.
  • Coordinate with project Coordinators and Detailers for seamless project execution.
  • Ensure accuracy by reviewing others' work before submission to the project team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to non-disclosure agreements related to proprietary information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, reflecting the evolving needs of the business unit.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Computerized Drafting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with electrical symbols and drafting standards.
  • A combination of education, training, and relevant experience is acceptable.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in current modeling software, particularly Revit, with the ability to create and manipulate families, views, and schedules.
  • Ability to provide clear verbal and written instructions that translate into effective design documents.
  • Thorough understanding of BIM processes and workflow procedures.
  • Experience in creating parametric families and complex geometries.
  • Fluency in reading and interpreting 2D plans and navigating 3D spaces.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Navis Works and Autodesk Design Review.
  • Strong skills in document management and reproduction systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively within a team environment.
Work Environment:
  • Typical work involves sitting for extended periods, along with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Work is primarily conducted indoors with standard office conditions.
  • Noise levels may vary, especially on job sites.
