We were founded in Newcastle, Australia. Nowadays we’re a hybrid business and have team members working in Australia, Philippines, India, Pakistan, and North America.


The role:


TransVirtual is currently expanding its operations in Northern America, and we are on the lookout for a confident and experienced business development ‘gun’.


Sourcing new business opportunities, running sales sequences, and qualifying sound business leads for our Account Executive are the prime deliverables in this role.

You will also be involved in driving our outbound initiatives, with resources to support you to activate outbound campaigns from prepared lists. Market feedback and helping guide and direct marketing efforts will be vitally important.


You’ll be comfortable and have prior experience in getting through the door to both SMB and Mid-market/Enterprise levels clients, talking to a variety of decision makers from owner operators, operational leaders to C-suite staff.

Your key stakeholders will be with our Head of Sales, Account Executive (North America) and our General Manager.

Essential Skills / qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a sales ‘hunting’ capacity
  • No fear of hard work on the phone – it’s a numbers game
  • Experience in managing a contact pipeline – CRM updates (we use HubSpot)
  • Adept at effective ‘sales persuasion’ communication
  • Experience in helping set up sales sequences with robust follow-up touch points
  • A history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas based on qualified leads
  • Ability to think on your feet and adjust as you go to maximize your results


Desired Skills:

  • Marketing university degree or equivalent – maturity in your thinking is what we after
  • Understanding/experience of the logistics sector / SaaS businesses
  • Sound CRM experience – attention to detail and diligent on good record keeping aiding in the chase for the sale
  • Well-rounded communication skills with an eye for negotiation and closing
  • Great team player who understands the importance of working together to meet a common goal
