Executive Assistant to Head of Strategy/MD

Our client is an established hedge fund in midtown Manhattan and looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Head of one of the firm’s most active and critical departments. Candidates must have prior experience managing heavy global travel coordination, working in fast-paced to corporate environments, effective written and verbal communication, the ability to work with various professional levels internally and externally, and can provide light personal assistance when needed. This position is hybrid, 4 days on-site and 1 remote, and must be flexible to work outside of working hours and to travel when needed.


  • Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $110k - $125k base + OT + Bonus with 100% paid benefits. Additional perks.


Responsibilities:


  • Function as gatekeeper to Head and team of department
  • Manage complex, ever-changing calendars and strategic scheduling
  • Laisse with high profile investors
  • Create visual presentations / decks
  • Anticipating needs and prioritizing daily and future deadlines
  • Work cross functionally with other departments
  • Provide back up support where and when needed


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior Executive Assistant experience within Financial Service Industry
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • A no task too big or small attitude
  • Proactive approach and anticipating needs
  • Flexible to be on-site when needed and to be reachable when working remotely
  • Technological savviness is a bonus
