We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Inside Account Manager to join our team in the Engineering industry. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our business, working directly with our valued clients and playing a key role in managing customer accounts. You will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, maintaining strong and lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Handle customer orders and requests for quotes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies that maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address customer issues, identify their needs, and provide customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to secure them.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma minimum, Associates Degree or Bachelors preferred
  • Proven experience in managing customer orders, requests for quotes, and pricing.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
  • Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of the Engineering industry and market trends.
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
