Human Resources Manager

A leading chemical manufacturer with multiple locations in the Greater Evansville, IN area is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager (Human Resources Business Partner) to provide strategic and hands-on HR leadership across two dynamic manufacturing sites. This is a unique opportunity to join an organization that has experienced substantial acquisitive growth, contributing to a collaborative and impactful HR team.
In this role, you will partner closely with HR and Operations leadership, aligning business objectives with HR strategies, sharing best practices, and driving key initiatives across all sites. We seek a candidate who is tactical, hands-on, and brings a strategic mindset with a strong drive for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical HR Expertise: Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of HR laws and best practices across compensation, recruitment, FMLA, ADA, Workers Comp, FLSA, COBRA, staffing, career development, terminations, and performance management.
- Change Leadership: Proactive leader with a track record of driving innovation and leading purposeful change, overcoming obstacles with a resilient, positive attitude.
- Employee Relations & Trust-Building: Establishes strong, trusting relationships at all levels of the organization, promoting positive employee relations while guiding change.
- Consultative and Courageous Leadership: Proven business partner and change agent who influences others toward excellence, with the courage to lead impactful decisions.
- Strategic Business Partner: Demonstrates business acumen and intellectual rigor, effectively driving competitive advantage and structured, process-oriented environments.

Requirements:
- Experience: 8 years of progressive HR experience, including HR leadership. Proven experience leading HR initiatives in manufacturing setting, with a successful track record of delivering impactful, results-aligned outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience; HR certification is preferred.

- Strong mentoring and coaching skills - partner and influence local site leadership while collaborating with other HR team members across other locations/states.
- Possess strong project management skills and delivers timely
