Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist at MRA-THE MANAGEMENT ASSN INC is responsible for administering various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel. This role assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, prepares and maintains employee handbooks, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participates in developing department goals and objectives
• Administers compensation programs, monitors performance evaluation programs, and revises as necessary
• Performs benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees
• Develops and maintains affirmative action programs, files EEO-1 reports annually, and maintains other records and logs to conform to EEO regulations
• Conducts recruitment efforts for all hourly, exempt, and nonexempt personnel, conducts new-employee orientations, schedules pre-employment screening, and writes and places advertisements
• Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing
• Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
• Maintains company organization charts and employee directories
• Assists in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals
Requirements:
An Associates Degree is required, with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred. Three to five years of experience in Human Resources is required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of personnel administration, excellent oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
