Summary:

Join our innovative team as a skilled R&D biologist in the field of plant biology, plant breeding, and microbiology. This role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields and at least 1 year of lab experience. As an integral part of our research and development team, you will be responsible for agrobacterium transformation to generate plants, maintaining greenhouses, and ensuring proper lab upkeep. The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong team-oriented mindset, and self-motivation to excel in this dynamic role.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

A R&D Biologist with a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in plant biology, plant breeding, or microbiology and at least 1 year of lab experience.

Requirements:

The individual should possess strong verbal and written skills, be team-oriented and self-motivated

Familiarity and/or experience with tissue culture, sterile technique, germplasm and agrobacterium-based corn transformation are a plus

Responsibilities:

Conduct agrobacterium transformation to produce plants for research purposes

Manage greenhouse activities including plant care and maintenance

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory environment

Follow established guidelines and protocols for experimental procedures

Collaborate effectively with team members on various research projects

Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
