We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our multi-disciplinary research team at Washington University. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on NIH-funded research projects focused on multi-modality molecular imaging of cancer metabolism, interplay with inflammation, and development of therapeutic strategies in the context of co-clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in molecular imaging, computational biology, and metabolomics to understand cancer biology and develop therapeutic strategies.
- Collaborate with chemists, computational biologists, and imaging scientists to design and execute experiments.
- Develop and maintain animal models and perform experiments to study cancer biology.
- Analyze data and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research at national and international conferences.
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics) or equivalent terminal degree.
- Strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, and imaging sciences.
- Experience with animal models, computational biology, and metabolomics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with molecular imaging, stable isotope studies, and single cell analysis.
- Publication record in cancer biology and related fields.
- Experience with bioinformatics and data analysis tools.
