Role Description

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Commerce Pundit, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and expanding our portfolio of services. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to generate leads, pitch our solutions, and close deals that contribute to the company's growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and a deep understanding of eCommerce services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and target new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients through various channels (email, cold calls, networking).
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored eCommerce and digital marketing solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our services and their value.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify new markets, customer needs, and trends in the eCommerce space.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets and increasing revenue.
  • Proposal Writing: Develop proposals and negotiate terms with clients to close deals.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and report on business development progress.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the eCommerce, IT, or digital marketing industry.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to achieve sales targets and close deals.
  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • New Business Development, Lead Generation, and Business Communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
