Job Position:
- Dedicated Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer to join our Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation project
- This role will be critical in ensuring comprehensive, clear, and accurate documentation of all phases of the EHR project
- The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, healthcare providers, and administrative staff, to create user manuals, training materials, and system documentation
- The position will also involve maintaining consistency in documentation practices, managing updates, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare terminology.
- Proficiency with documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Confluence).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
- Knowledge of document control practices and version management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation specialist roles, preferably within the healthcare or IT sectors
- Demonstrated experience with EHR systems and healthcare documentation
- Proven track record of producing high-quality technical documentation for diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals and IT staff.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field or equitable experience.
