Business Development Manager

Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a hands-on and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager with deep knowledge of the infrastructure, project finance and energy industries to advise partners and other key stakeholders across practice groups on business development strategy and execute revenue growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Advise partners and other key stakeholders across practice groups on business development strategy and execute revenue growth objectives
- Act as the industry subject matter expert and serve as the key point of contact for practice leadership in meeting and supporting business development and marketing goals
- Analyze industry trends to identify new business opportunities and develop actionable recommendations to pursue new business wins
- Work closely with business development peers across different regions to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Research and analyze competitors, current and prospective clients and industry trends to develop best practices
- Conduct bespoke research, develop custom pitches and proactively respond to RFPs
- Work closely with firm's media relations and communications teams and assist with drafting press releases, events, conferences, seminars, etc.
- Collaborate with partners on directory and awards submissions
- Analyze and recommend speaking and industry engagements and negotiate sponsorship agreements
- Train and mentor junior business development staff
- Assist with special projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of business development or strategic marketing experience
- Legal marketing or business development experience preferred but not required
- Advanced knowledge of the energy and infrastructure industries
- Advanced project management, business writing and presentation development skills
- Demonstrated experience developing marketing, RFP and pitch materials
- Highly motivated and creative with strong leadership skills
