Our client is a non-profit organization seeking a Director of Employee Relations to join their Talent Operations team. The role focuses on playing an instrumental part in maintaining a positive workplace environment, handling performance evaluations, and managing employee relations.


Essential responsibilities include:

Mandatory travel to 12 schools every two weeks.

High volume investigation case management (6-10 weekly) - required

Stakeholder management.

Providing guidance on employment relations.

Creating over all HR Management, policies and procedures for the 12 schools you manage.


The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of HR or employee relations experience, strong investigation skills, and a belief in the organization’s mission.


Crucial qualifications include knowledge of relevant laws, HRIS systems, conflict resolution expertise, and the ability to travel to schools in the New York area.
