The Converse Home is an Assisted Living Community located in downtown Burlington. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and a vibrant community for our residents. Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Community Life Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, working every other weekend. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating a variety of engaging activities and events that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planned, organized, and led a variety of recreational activities and events for residents.
  • Encourage resident participation and engagement in scheduled activities.
  • Help develop and maintain a monthly calendar of events.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a well-rounded activity program.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Assist in the setup and cleanup of activities and events.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of activities and resident feedback.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and staff members.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an assisted living facility or similar environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for working with older adults.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work every other weekend.

The Converse Home is a private nonprofit senior community. Our assisted living and memory care community is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the southern end of Burlington. We have beautifully landscaped grounds that include large flower and vegetable gardens, a gazebo and many areas for our residents to enjoy being outside.
