THE ROLE:

The Sr. Manager HR Business Partner role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a track record of enabling business results through people. This role will partner closely with senior executives and requires experience in end-to-end ownership of strategic HR and people-related initiatives. This position is ideal for those eager to embrace new challenges in a dynamic and innovative setting, where you can significantly impact and drive meaningful change.

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will coach, advise, and facilitate conversations with executives on successful human capital strategies, provide business insights through org and talent analytics, and develop and drive program initiatives across the broader function. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute key human capital initiatives such as leadership development, coaching, and rewards and recognition in collaboration with COEs.

  • Partner with senior executives on their organizational needs to provide impactful solutions leveraging your breadth of HR experience.

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and minimize resistance within the organization.

  • Assist people and the organization in moving to new ways of thinking and/or operating.

  • Drive communication and organizational change plans that ensure appropriate pre-wiring and alignment with key partners and are thoughtfully executed to mitigate risk and drive positive employee engagement.

  • Drive pay-for-performance including salary planning, promotions, resource planning, and talent calibration.

  • Facilitate strategic off-sites driving people strategies that enable positive business impact.

  • Partner and team with colleagues inside and outside of HR to innovate, improve, align, and drive the efficiency of enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Progressive multifaceted HR experience with recent HR Business Partner experience. A background in Consulting or Organizational Development preferred.

  • Results-oriented and able to solve problems through exploring information and finding patterns. The ability to connect disparate information to understand trends and diagnose opportunities.

  • Keen interest in how the business works; knowledgeable in best practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; knows the competition.

  • Experience supporting Sales teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills with the ability to interact effectively across functions and at various levels within the organization.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research, assess, validate, and interpret data in a way that naturally creates an accurate narrative and provides actionable guidance to the business.

  • Be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of engagement survey results, identify trends, and collaborate with leaders to create to implement action plans.

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading and implementing change management initiatives to ensure organizational alignment and minimize resistance.

  • Ability to work in a sophisticated, global, matrixed organization and engaging partners and leading expectations as required.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable leading multiple concurrent projects and work streams, each with shifting priorities.

  • Attention to detail and ambitious standards for precision in deliverables and execution.

  • An appetite for creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
