Role Overview:
As an Experienced HR Business Partner, you will provide expert consultation and strategic guidance to managers and leadership within the University of Texas at Austin. Your focus will be on enhancing HR operations, including but not limited to performance management, workforce planning, and job classification in alignment with institutional policies and relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute training programs and engagement initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the University, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
2. Oversee the approval workflows and manage a high volume of electronic HR processes within the Workday system, ensuring seamless staff lifecycle management.
3. Review and validate timesheets, as well as coordinate extended leave requests in compliance with University policies and state regulations.
4. Serve as a resource for employees and managers by communicating and administering University policies, addressing inquiries, and directing them to appropriate campus resources.
Additional Contributions:
Support key HR initiatives such as the Annual Staff Awards event and other essential activities related to faculty and student employment, contributing to a positive workplace environment.
